it's here! it's here!

Agate and Mokou have made it to Kitchen Heptagon, a city dedicated to the advancement of Qud's cuisine. The knowledge held by its resident Carbide Chefs will prove invaluable to Mokou's further travels, while Agate must reckon with the weight of her own promises and theories. The city's labors, people, and shared bounty make it a good place to start a new life. There is shelter here against the dangers lurking in the wilds, and in dreams. So what keeps the two of them from belonging?

after two years deep in the writing mines, it’s finally the next installment of my Touhou/Caves of Qud crossover epic, Treatise on the Peregrine Phoenix! contains competitive cooking, posthuman socialist experiments, chewing on the nature of eternity, and physically massive lesbians.

if you want to show your support, i’ve got a ko-fi you can toss some bucks at, and you can get an even bigger chunk of the story ahead of my weekly AO3 publishing by backing my patreon!

live and cook!

Put book 1 on my ereader and been smoking it here and there. It’s real good! I know nothing of touhou (besides lots of the music - perhaps too much) and also know nothing about caves of qud - but it don’t matter.

Really great character interactions and world descriptions and prose. I also love novels that connect the characters through food and cooking so that is huge for me here too.

Anyway i love it!!!!!!!
