I also had a dream (as a result of archive-binging on the manga for the previous few days) about Chainsaw Man Part 2. There was this whole succession of devils (or "youkai" -- did the dream get it confused with Touhou?) who were trying to help save Asa and kept accidentally making things worse.
The dream had that classic bit that was like ...
Other character: "Asa, I know you're being controlled!"
Asa: "... uh?"
Other: "Yes, controlled by a particularly weak ... (sound of my brain struggling to remember the correct word) ... youkai!"
Asa: "Y-yes!"
Other: "Don't worry, I'll help you get freed!"
Asa: "Thank you!"
Other: "Yes ... I'll save you from Sans!"
Asa: "Wait, what?"
(briefly cut to Sans from Undertale in a classroom completely minding his own business)
Other: "Don't worry, you'll be safe soon!"
Asa: "But that's not --"
Other: "You don't need to say anything, I'll kill him for you!"
Asa: "No!!!"
