Concept: an Evil Roboticist™ creates an AI girl who accidentally ends up as their daughter -- yes, this is inspired by you-know-what -- and the roboticist's immediate response is to go "Welp, I guess we're doing this now" and drops whatever evil stuff they were doing to try and figure out how to be The Best (mom/dad/other-gender parent) Ever. Doesn't matter whether it's for its own sake (or, y'know, for the daughter's sake) or if the roboticist's ego won't allow anything less, and I dunno, maybe this gets kicked off when the daughter has a breakdown after failing to destroy the hero? But anyway, the roboticist puts all their world-domination plans on hold for now, because it's parenting time. And if that means helping their heroic arch-nemesis save the world from a different threat, then hey, only the best for my daughter! ... From multiple threats, even. The hero wisecracks about how they were trying to kill each other last year like it's some minor unimportant detail, they both laugh it off, the roboticist is screaming internally and has no fucking clue what they're actually supposed to say to that. It's getting longer and longer since the last time there were any world-domination plans. The hero is smiling knowingly. Everyone likes the roboticist more as a hero than they ever did when they were a villain. When did that happen? Like, the villain doesn't exactly express regret for their past misdeeds -- and not even just because said misdeeds basically led to the creation of their daughter -- they just started fighting alongside the hero one day, and they've just never stopped. "Welp, I guess we're doing this now."
