i was curious about @wildweasel's post so i got the linux iso from my abandonware and ran the installer for the x86 binary to get the game running
if you really wanna name your character "Weasel" you can patch that string (it's location might change based on the platform) to whatever, like "Joker" in the screenshot above
i saw some code that was setting all the images to a picture of a joker specifically, and it looks like all the images are stored as XBM files
might be cool to make a mod but i don't have any fun ideas yet
