yeah, blocking and moving on is genuinely the best thing to do, and it can still be pretty funny
its kinda the same vein as finding someone who blocks u on twitter. like i am the biggest nonconfrontational baby on there why did u block me LOL but i mad respect ppl for just blocking if they see something they dont like. thats how ur supposed to go about it
the tldr for proship is that you acknowledge that problematic content and ships happen in fiction, and you won't harass creators of said content because you find it personally uncomfortable.
antis are basically the opposite. they can't separate fiction from reality and will go out of their way to call out, harass, and/or try to get someone banned for content/ships they deem problematic.
the discourse around it started on tumblr iirc, i didn't know much myself until a few years ago lol. i just know if i see something i dont like, ill just block, and i dont think that the content the person is making automatically makes them a bad person irl.
