the news of today is that I'm thinking about joining bluesky (twitter 2.0),

mostly bc, 1) it's twitter without Elon (i mean, this is obvs) and 2) i'm reaaaaaally interested on using my own domain for it. like, that's a really NICE move.

it's not available now though and, no, i'm not invited YET (i'm waiting...) but the issue rn is that, as it is with Hivesocial, it's only available via app and I just can't get used to it >:V

sigh... i guess i'll just wait until it is

granted, it only has 2 videos bc i didn't have the time to post more... but also, bc I like taking my time so I don't end up even more stressed ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

it shows some speedpainting and/or random behind-the-scenes progress of my gamedev work

also, i don't try to make my videos "professional" alike bc when I do I hate doing them 😗

so now i'm just having fun making them, silly videos that may or may not be important

I used to write long reviews about indie visual novels bc, I was already exhausted, why not get even more exhausted in life????

but then, the apocalypse (me exploding bc I was so stressed) came and I didn't have energy to write reviews anymore bc I was focused on finishing my game (btw, it's OUT!!!) So I had to close my blog uu.

But!

I did save most of these reviews (there weren't that many haha;;;) on the wayback machine bc I'm pretty proud of them :3 And there were ppl who liked them too! SO! Here they are! A list of all the reviews that were saved!! ^^

What is a Visual Novel? Are Visual Novels games?
This is not a review but a fun article I did about visual novels ^^!

I hope you find them entertaining!

it's not even funny, what started as a silly thing for doing memes (at least, that's how I found out about AI generators), now it's being used for people who wants to create and own the "art" they create (characters, scenes, backgrounds, etc.) without realizing that, well, you can't.

you could try but... legally, you can NOT be the owner (the copyright holder) of that creation because you are using a software that uses copyrighted images from authors who didn't give their consent for that use. So, you could be sued and you 1) will lose a lot of money (for the trial and the compensation to the original author) and 2) won't win.

and i'm sad bc... a couple of weeks ago I found out the creator of an amazing visual novel, who recently got a funded kickstarter, is... using... Stable Diffusion and... I don't know how to tell them that they can't get in serious trouble if they are planning a commercial game with those images.

I'm pretty sure they already know but they are really keen on using that software so... sigh

i recently re-discovered this-one-game and its creator on itch.io, and I rememered how his VN was one of the first visual novels I played. I followed the development of the game and was there on day 1 when it was released back then, many years ago. SO! I was excited to find his game re-released on itch.io and even more when I found out he was working on a new game nowadays after years but then....
