I didn't realize before how many mental cycles I spend on most social media sites calculating the potential social impact of liking a post or following someone.
the way i feel about this site reminds me of the old twitter thing "this website is free," but reversed. for twitter, free=worthless. for cohost, it feels free like a public park or a neighborhood, in that it's supported by taxes lol (cohost plus in the framing of this metaphor)
