have there been any actual instances in the text of people speaking any of the languages of the universe ie: we hear of people speaking Daru, or Letherii, but do we ever see those languages written out in the text?

i just hit some in a late book and i truly cannot remember if we actually see any of the actual languages written out or if it’s just “he was speaking dal honese” and the like

I'm pretty sure there has been cases where there is complete gibberish on the page. Can't remember any exact details though. I feel like it has been mostly for ancient languages and not any of the every day tongues.

Actually as I was writing this I remembered a bit from Midnight tides: ‘Ki‘bri arasteshabyn bri por‘tol tun logdara kul absi.’

Edit: this is chapter 15.

Appreciate it! Not at all the language I was expecting haha. There’s a conversation in book 10 where someone is speaking another language and my brain just honed in on a couple words (erikson likes to play with etymology and language once lether is introduced) and wondering if I’ve found something important or just making something out of nothing lmao
