two possibilities, the first of which is more likely:
- stupidity. this is just someone who thinks "old = rare = valuable!"
- money laundering. this is a long shot obviously, but not impossible. we've seen this with regards to art
I remember putting my copy of the gc tales of symphonia on sale and instantly got messages from two other sellers demanding I raise the price to triple of what I was asking for lol
