Interesting chip here in an arcade game I recently got. The game board is built for a large, bulky kind of EPROM called the M27C322, but two of the chips are actually this weird little thing. It's a tiny, tiny ROM chip and a big adapter that lets it sit in the big bulky socket on the board. Guess they were experimenting with new chips, but didn't want to redesign their usual boards?
I tried to dump it using my EPROM writer, but it wasn't detected. I'm guessing the writer is trying to be too smart about detecting chip type, which won't work since this is a passive adapter over a different chip.
