i have one of these to eBay. wondering if the battery is still good.
i find it interesting that back in the day they never let on that these were just battery-backed and would fail / need servicing someday. it was just like "here is the expensive (magic??) cart that lets you save a lot more games than the system's paltry on-board memory, enjoy"
I opened mine several years back and it had a fairly large battery inside, larger than the typical CR2032s you'd find in e.g. NES carts. they'll probably be good for a while longer
what's going on with the cartridge slot on the Genesis, though? it looks like it's either stuck open or something is wedged in there. not very "professional" if you ask me!!!!
