As a fellow Flo Mask wearer and glasses wearer: Do you have any suggestions for keeping one's glasses from fogging up while wearing the mask?
The foam insert does help with that, when it stays in… which, as your pic demonstrates, it often doesn't. I tried Scotch tape but it wouldn't stick to the silicone at all.
idk. i've never used one or seen one up close but i have had the b2 for years now. works good, all my friends use them, super convenient and even folds up into your pocket, it's ~cheaper, and while it's lacking NIOSH certification it also definitely works (and may fit better), keeps fog outta your glasses, and doesn't have AS SEEN ON DOCTOR PHIL or whatever all over the website
all my friends have them
that said if you are having a lot of fog problems with an elastomeric mask like that it's usually a sign that it's not fitting right. No air should be escaping around the mask or under your eyes if the fit is any good.
Hm. I'll consider that one if I give up on the Flo Mask.
The foam insert is the part that helps the Flo Mask's silicone gasket maintain a seal. It's supposed to sit directly inside the gasket (the gray part around the edge of the mask). Unfortunately, it resolutely does not. That's the problem I need to solve to make the Flo Mask work reliably.
Yeah, I do find it slips. I haven't had much issue with my glasses fogging up just because of how they sit on the mask though. I am tempted to try out some kind of adhesive though.
