Wow… this is a trip down Memory Lane. I used to work at Radio Shack from 1989-1996 and I still remember carrying Philips CD-i machines in the store. We only sold a handful of them and had a very limited set of titles.
it took me a real long look to realize that top one was a weird case and not a journal w/ a closure strap
It's such a weird looking case, right? All the early North American CD-i discs use them.
a 'story machine', eh. two of them, even... how fantastic. we truly live in the future
