Trying to decide if I want to consider mirroring old posts from my blog CD-ROM Journal here. The problem is I like having my own host and I'd like people to read there, but I kinda don't know how many people will follow a link. I wonder if some people would be more likely to read posts if they showed up as native posts here.
(For unrealistic future dreaming, having a project page that's populated by an RSS feed from an external source would be cool...)
my specific vote is: people are much less likely to go through the archives on their own. maybe highlight some of the better posts here but have people click through to see them
I mean, with a cohost API client, that shouldn't be infeasible at all.
I concur that linking old posts here with a blurn about the contents would be cool
