Had a post on twitter get mildly popular and had to deal with how incredibly unpleasant it is to have people QRTing you to disagree or whatever. I really enjoy that when a post goes around here, it feels WAY less intrusive.

Yeah. In particular, I like how reshare + comment here works different from quote retweet on Twitter. The dynamic feels more cooperative and not aggressive
having a separate page where comments live is like a cosy little hole for discussion to happen rather than an awful mess of everything else speeding by..... plus shared post additions showing up ~under~ the original post instead of above..... it's nice
