I hope UNI 2 gets its online stuff fixed soon; really liking it offline so far, but seems like it's reputation is going to live or die on how long it stays broken

yeah, a parter system of ours got really frustrated about it. seems steam is honoring refunds outside the 2 hour window about it, too. it's... like, i understand the state of game development in the year 2024, but like. shipping a highly-anticipated fighting game without online multiplayer just seems like... such a reason to delay. — alphy
French Bread PC ports always tend to struggle at the start but they often get the problems fixed relatively quick. Melty Blood also had to get fixed on PC a few times. i also think UNI is a stronger "brand" than Melty is, so once it gets fixed it'll be off and running. (a big part of why their PC ports struggle is because they're outsourced, as well)
Yeah, I guess that makes sense. Kinda sad for a company that got their start on PC but I get it. This definitely feels rougher than I remember Melty being, though. Came in slightly too hot.
