A decision I'm having to make in Magic School Lunar is how to translate "魔族", or "magic tribe". In Silver Star Story, it was translated as "Vile Tribe", since the one group of them that were seen were that game's villains. There's a little more nuance to how they're depicted in other games, which makes that choice a little more awkward, but the group seen in this game is evil so "Vile Tribe" fits and helps keep the connection to the other games visible.

As long as you're editing, there's one line in particular you're gonna want to watch out for (ROT13ing the rest in case anybody else is reading this):

There is a lot of language like that I remember toning down where possible (your main character taking her clothes off in an FMV and for the duration of an entire scene puts a limit on how much you can tone down).
