i'm just a lil' guy with a market cap of a few trillion usd and a few tens of thousands of employees, i can't possibly be expected to comply with these regulations i had years of notice about. how could anyone be expected to bear such a burden? and it's my birthday
i really wonder what the outcome of all of this is going to be. it feels like apple thinks they can strong arm the eu, as if they're as pathetic as the us regulatory environment is. but i suspect that, uh, they arent quite so easily convinced
Yeah, the fact that Apple couldn't force the EU to back down from the other recent changes shows they're not just going to give up.

I was expecting this to happen, glad to see it is. Big US companies love to try pull things like this then are surprised when the EU enforces the spirit of the law and not the exact laws as written.
