FL players: curious if anyone’s got any insights as to why the “machinations of the masters” card is undiscardable. It’s not a bad set of cards but I’m used to permanently resetting card story things like that being discardable unless there’s a good story reason for it not to be, even if they’re profitable.

I think they want to be able to sort players into various affiliation bins for things that involve the Masters (like the opening scene of Firmament, part 1). So that explains it not being discardable to begin with. But I've essentially said "the only good Space Bat is a dead Space Bat" a bunch of times, and while the EPA is fine, it annoys me.
