At one point it was considered actual for every major macot to have an educational spinoff. Mario Teaches Typing. Sonic Schoolhouse. They termed it, "giving back to the community". Of course, now no one believes in the stuff. But just imagine if they did. The Geometry of Halo. Call of Duty: The Interactive Historical CD-ROM. The Dark Souls of Cooking. The possibilities are limitless.

I"VE BEEn thinking about how dungeon meshi plays with some of the same ideas as dark souls vis a vis the interruption of the natural flow of time and death so there's definitely crossover potential, ideally in the cookbook space
Dark Souls would probably make for a fun cartography thing.
