Song of the day - Waiting For You by Ed Manning/Rob Mathes. I've always had a real soft spot for that period in the 80s where there was a big crossover between jazz fusion and soft rock, especially that very melancholic style of soft rock you didn't really hear any more after the 80s. Melancholic piano, 80s synth strings, nostalgic vocal line. Used to worry whether this kind of thing was "corny" but now I just let myself enjoy it. Good stuff.
