I know it's "just" a simple dither layer overlaid, but I love how good the transition to the interior scene works here.
weird how it's not purely a dither layer, for example the bright white of the bird bath turns into brown, and the dark gray and brown dithered patch in the bottom left turns into a dark gray and dark green. i wonder why they did that.
I wonder if the interior image was made from a copy of a slightly older version of the exterior.
those were my thoughts too about the missing patches of bare dirt, the water pump being one pixel higher, and the bush behind the shed; but i'm not sure why the side of the birdbath facing the light source is brown.
