Ugh, I think the SD card for my favourite toy camera is dying. I'm having semi-frequent read errors on my computer, even after reformatting it, and the camera can't use it properly anymore.
It wouldn't be such a big deal except it's such an old camera it tells you not to use cards larger than 512MB1 - it doesn't take SDHC or newer, it has to be original SD only. I don't know where I'll find another compatible card these days.

I've been using a 2GB card, which has been fine until it started dying.
It's a camera that produces dreamlike photos like this one - it's beautiful, very lo-fi, and unpredictable in a way that makes it always interesting to use. (And keeps me from obsessing over the perfect shot, when the camera makes the perfect shot unattainable.) I'm very attached to it and I'll keep it working forever if I can.
