Today's morning music: Klyfta's Cosmic Pilgrimage.
This one's technically a soundtrack, in that it comes from a video game, but it's really more like a video game was an excuse for Chris Schlarb and his band Psychic Temple to get to do something fun and out of their usual wheelhouse. It's spacy, cosmic prog jazz with wandering melodies and 10+ minute long tracks. It's been one of my faves for ages. Even the record sleeve is in-universe, giving a full bio of Casper Sundberg and his band.
