Got to pull out the CD-i and show Aura Nobelia today. Love that I can just get friends to play CD-i at my place. Also: that people just genuinely love this game. IMO it's cool to take something people are ironic about all the time and inspire some genuine fun instead.

do you have any other cd-i recs? i really only ever knew of the cd-i through the youtube poop videos, so it was really exciting looking this game up and seeing something that actually looks really cool!
I'm still getting a feel for the library myself; only got the system a couple months ago.
The two other big recommendations I've got right now are Laser Lords and Alice in Wonderland. They're open-world western style RPGs mixed with sidescrolling platforming. They're very weird games and a little bit clunky feeling, but once you get past that they're really deep and very cool.
