Why does the character need a magic to guide herself through the world? I'm disabled and when I write disabled characters, I try to make it clear that magic or super science would not change their experience...
I didn’t really think about it like that! I think Honey doesn’t need her abilities to navigate the world but just uses them as an aid. I kinda use Toph Beifong as a reference for how to imagine how she uses her magic but I didn’t consider whether Toph was a good reference for representation
