it's interesting, my first impression with the game was a concern. pikmin is not a mechanically complex RTS, understandably so in some respects considering its for consoles but to clarify, here's pikmin's general play:
- you can control a group of pikmin
- pikmin can return resources to your base to create more pikmin
- pikmin can fight enemies by ramming/being thrown into them
- there's three types of pikmin, each specializing in a task
according to a few recent statements, jonathan blow's Braid remaster has sold poorly. im sure that sucks but there's an easy solution to all of this mr blow: get soulja boy to play it again.
pikmin is an adorable, surprisingly smooth console RTS that's very fun to run around in and is only mildly terrifying when you attack enemies. bro, i watched 40 of the little guys annihilate a frog and carry its corpse away, i just kinda pretended it didn't happen.
