i watched Dark Beginnings and ive not completely recovered to be honest, i didn't think the sonic series was even capable of delivering something that stunning.

im so happy to see shadow being taken seriously again. they're snagging all the best bits from his history and giving it one hell of a sendup, in just the first short too. frontiers laid the groundwork for a more dramatic direction and they're sprinting.

handily the best rollout a sonic game's had yet, i just hope it lives up the ridiculous standard this marketing's set lmao. frontiers got away with expectations thanks to the mysterious drip-feed reveal but oh no, not this time, im wearing my Hype Hat.

i hope they never stop updating the two point games, Tails Employee is an important part of the franchise.

sonic's only role in the shadow game is to pop up randomly and go YEAH LETS DO THIS ALRIGHT FIGHTING ALIENS WOO HOO and it's like oh, i see why shadow finds him annoying lmao.

my man's going through several existential crises and i imagine seeing mr :D show up does NOT help.

im playing the Reloaded version of Shadow The Hedgehog and yknow, im mean with the shadow game but i can still kinda tap into that "obsessed pre-teen" energy from ages ago and enjoy the simple pleasures of being shadow and doing cool shadow things. sometimes childhood games get away with this. even you, mr. "kill 40 enemies in a 20-minute stage".
