literally my first reaction to sonic superstars was "HOLY FUCKING SHIT THERE'S HUBWORLDS???? game looks good too"

turns out that FUCKING BANGER remix of sonic frontiers' Hype Street was done by Rintaro Soma himself! we definitely have a new sonic composer prodigy here.

i grew up non-nintendo so all ive known and collected are DVD and jewel cases for games

yet the advance trilogy for my sonic collection are these thick, bulky cardboard boxes. ive never seen anything like them, its another world.

i LOVE how they look compared to my usual. excepting the GBA sidebar, the entire box is themed around the game, full colours and all. it gives this illusion of each one being handcrafted and thats so, so fun.

but its also cardboard! just, a cardboard box! a bit of professional origiami yknow? fold across the dotted lines kfjdhsk. im so fascinated by it; simultaneously awesome and confusing.

i think ive gotten all my sonic bullshit out now that Final Horizon's had time to settle. i apologize. back to normal.

for about two weeks until Superstars comes out. ive been locked inside a buffet room and i cant leave.
