here’s an old puzzle of mine made for logic showcase 43, whose prompt was to make a scoring zones puzzle. this is one of my shakiest, chewiest puzzles i think, but i also think its logical and aesthetic ideas are strong enough to be worth preserving.
scoring zones rules
draw some paths indicating movement from some or all circles such that no paths overlap each other or themselves. circles move from cell to cell orthogonally, and every cell is visited by a circle. whenever a circle enters a region, it contributes a number of points to the region equal to the number on the circle; each numbered region indicates the exact number of points contributed to it.
