this is a test. this is a story.

you are not timed.

a triple! here’re my entries for logic showcase 64, presented in the order i made them.

pentomino areas rulesplace the bank of shapes into the grid such that each shape segment occupies one cell, no shapes overlap or share an edge or point, and each region contains exactly one shape. shapes can be rotated/reflected.

while statue park remains queen in my heart, it was fun to dip into other pentomino genres for a spell. this pentomino areas puzzle was def just me testing the waters; this pentomino in the box puzzle, on the other hand, i am disgustingly pleased with.

pentomino in the box rulesplace the bank of shapes into the grid such that each shape segment occupies one cell, no shapes overlap or share an edge or point, and each region contains exactly three shaded cells belonging to exactly two shapes. shapes can be rotated/reflected.

“the swamp”

finally, another hit points puzzle! this was me betting (correctly) there wouldn’t be any other number placement entries, so i would serve the people their vegetables if no one else would. entries are presented anonymously at first, but, hilariously, multiple people clocked this one as mine prior to authors being revealed.

hit points ruleslabel each unnumbered cell with a number from 1 to x, where x is the side length of the grid, such that every number is present in each row and column. each number outside of the grid indicates the sum of every number n that occupies the nth cell along its line of sight into the grid.
