if you ever want to know about game development, pc98, early windows, touhou, or the man himself, this set of interviews i'm translating is a great place to start. i've reached the halfway mark of this VERY LONG SERIES of interviews and i'm working on the 6th one right now.
you don't really need much knowledge about touhou or pc98. the interviews explain everything and more. you get a really good picture of what japan was like when ZUN was working on the first touhou games, how he learned programming by himself, and the kinds of influences he's absorbed throughout his life. it's riveting stuff, even if you don't really care that much about touhou.
i've been enjoying translating these interviews, but i don't think most people who follow me know i've been working on it. so there you go lol.
