when i play a pc stg that doesnt have remappable keyboard controls, i cross one arm over the other like it's 2012 and i'm doing gangnam style, because movement is for the left hand and actions are for the right, and i won't hear otherwise

In college we had a guy who would play SVC like that, thought it odd at the time but he made it work
