i think its kinda sad that at the end of day, rather than focusing on improving the website (even if it means changing how it works fundamentally) and really thinking about what makes sites like twitter, instagram, tumblr, or facebook work the devs here choose to plug their ears and in turn, create a hostile culture that goes against new users. its only until they finally allow criticisms to simmer that they get around to bug fixes that shouldnt have stuck around for so long.
the fact that the most they can promise is half a year is... disappointing. much like tumblr, because they refuse to fix and improve, all this site becomes is a worse money pit compared to other social media sites.
