so i don't know if i have covid or not. i probably do because i live with someone who currently does and i have symptoms, but i'm still testing negative, so i'm hiding in my room with the door closed (HEPA filters running on either side) and staying masked when i leave it. this has given me some insight into Mask Whining: it's probs actually more annoying to be putting it on and taking it off all the time than it is to keep it on for a long stretch.
i had to tape mine to my face at work or my glasses would just constantly be fogged. no other fog prevention solution ever worked for me. tape is not reusable and re-sticking/peeling it too often = raw skin bad time, even the medical grade stuff, so once it was on it was just on until i left work; i'd just sneak a meal bar under the mask for lunch. but being at home is different, less foggy, and taping is not really practical for various reasons, so i keep running into this thing where i forget something important in another room and have to put on my goddamn mask again 2 seconds after taking it off, and loop my glasses in and yeah i see how this was a little annoying, specifically for whiny little pissbabies who insisted on taking the mask off the instant they were allowed because their americafreedoms were being muzzled or whatever. also: if it's only on your face for shorter periods of time you're probably gonna be noticing it more when it's on. it takes me like 10-15 minutes to simply forget mine is there.
skill issue though! still would not risk anyone else's safety/life over my mild annoyance. wild how many people were and still are cool with that! wear your fuckin mask.
