I adopted two mice! These are Cornflower (beige and white, female) and Matthias (Ma-tee-us, black, neutered male) and they don't know me yet but I love them already. I thought they'd be withdrawn when they first got home but they are into everything and never stop moving.
(A little expectation-setting: I don't know exactly how old they are--my guess is Matthias is a little older but idk really--and since mice only live a year or two, I don't know how long I have with them. But right now both of them seem very curious and energetic so I think that's a good sign.)
