this is not in any order and there are probably things i'm forgetting but i stream-of-consciousnessed games that i either go back to regularly or that had some kind of enormous permanent impact on me. mad that my choices for Rod-Land were either something with a weird logo on it or the awful american box art but too lazy to edit it lol. (no one else has been including the link to make one but i will)

You have included what I still think might be the best video game ever made (Yoshi's Island), so I'm happy.

My list of these would be almost exclusively old Nintendo stuff. Bunch of Mario and Zelda, plus a half-dozen puzzle games on the OG Game Boy.

And even though I'm not planning to make my own, thank you for the link. I was starting to think that everyone was somehow going to the trouble of matching the "look" of the image without working from a common source.
