I look forward to more anecdotes, it's really insightful for me to see how non-programmers engage with tools like this. it gives me more stuff to consider when writing tutorials and documentation and stuff like that. This confusion wouldn't have crossed my mind, but I think it's an extremely legitimate one!

LOL i'm glad they're good for something besides giggles. honestly, one of the things that's been hardest is like... crashing into jargon/shorthand walls, especially in error messages. i knew from the jump that str and int must have referred to something else since the ren'py engine doesn't have stat systems built-in. it seems weird to abbreviate things in a place where clarity is so important.
