i've been on a search for some heavier cardstock. my printer can handle inkjet shrink plastic just fine, and that's basically the kind of stiffness and springiness i'm looking for, but in like, paper. i keep trying to go by numbers like the paper weight and gsm but it seems to be a women's clothing size and/or whose line is it anyway situation where everything's made up and the points don't matter LOL.

i'm making some playing cards, which will be reinforced with vinyl on both sides, so that's what i'm going for. i also want to use it for future prints of my bookmarks. i'm not expecting these to come out exactly like professional playing cards but i do need the beefiest possible inkjet paper i can get through my printer and it seems that The System doesn't want me to know where to get strong and capable papers!!
