not too long ago I was eyeing a Lamy Safari that had just released in a very pretty color but gave up on it since no canadian store had it in stock -- but! it was in stock when I ordered the new Colorverse inks I was coveting so i thought after all, why not? why not get a little treat?
I've heard good things about the Safari, mainly that it is an affordable option and a pretty good pen. Both things feel true! but I am SO surprised how thick the F nib still ends up being (maybe it's the ink. i've only tried the one ink. but the lines are so fat next to my kakuno F nib still :0 !!)
I also was not prepared for how the plastic feels in hand? i don't know how to explain but I think I'm partial to the smooth feel of a Kakuno if I want another cheap pen in the future.
