imo: it's worth it to go at least once. Doesn't need to be this time. seeing how many people are coming out for the local ones really does Cause A Feeling.
the atmosphere is usually like a party where no one knows anyone except the host, but just standing and soaking it in is usually fine.
it's not a thing you have to do, there will be more, but it's... it puts things in perspective. there's so many more of us than any of us think.
