#vi posts #real talk tho the show is alright so far (just one ep in) i went in with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised #it has heart! i wasn't expecting a CGI/live action series on a streaming service in 2024 to have heart #if it can keep up the vibes i'd say it's on track to being on par with the movies

my two main thoughts after watching the whole thing:

like i said in the original post, the show is alright. not great, not terrible. perfectly alright
i'm the only Sonic fan on the internet who's able to have fun with perfectly alright Sonic media

#vi posts #that's all i'm willing to say publicly #i do find it absolutely BAFFLING that even among some of the hardcore Sonic fans who's opinions i deeply respect they were going into this show expecting it to be Sonic movie 2.5 and not. exactly what it advertised itself to be????
