modern jrpg devs will really try to make you pay $60-70 for a game and then sell you the epilogue scenario in a $30-35 “expansion pass” which isn’t included in the collector’s/deluxe edition and is full of nothing content so they can bloat the price before they actually release the part anyone actually cares about at the end of it
i didn’t realize this is an inter-series trend i thought nintendo was just shit
yeah exactly see, this was already pissing me off with persona 3 reload, but what inspired this post was when i looked into modern xenoblade too and had the horrible realization of “oh… oh this is a Thing…..”
the comments so far have only further proven to me the state of things and it fills me with a terror
