this site has had its ups and downs, and naturally i'm going to miss it, but tbh these past few days i've been kinda sitting paralyzed at the thought of without a platform with a reliable mutual aid network, the threat of things going from manageable to catastrophic for me looms closer than ever. and considering yesterday i had a scare with my card declining... yeah i've been on edge lately.
i know times are tough for everyone, and i don't want to accept money someone doesn't have/can't afford to give, but this place and everyone's kindness and generosity has helped keep my head above water more than a few times now. i guess i don't have anything else to say other than, thanks for reaching, thanks for sharing, and thank you for having a pretty good time here with me 💜💜💜

i've been really putting off making a post like this on cohost, but my funds are getting a bit too dry for comfort 😞😞😞 i don't really have much to update folks on, but for those who may not know me as well, i'm a black trans woman who's been struggling with poverty and unemployment for almost a year now. i would like to set some clearer goals this year in finally finding a suitable place for my partner and i to move to so i can find more, or any work really, but as i'm sure you all know, moving in and of itself is a huge expense that i have struggling to afford as well. I'm keeping my fingers crossed however that we can arrange something by the end of this year.

hi, it's a new month, and things have unfortunately taken a turn for the worst :(
i was supposed to get some benefits + tax return money on the 1st, but it got pushed back, and now that this month's rent has gone through i'm. kind of panicking a little. i really hate to do this but i really need the help, i'm starting to cut it a bit too close
