god trackmania is kinda really funny. apparently they had to reset the world records on one map because there was this weird bug where if you drifted into a certain object it would launch your car crazy fast in some weird direction and instead of fucking people's runs up they were using it to get world record times

no idea. it was the one where you like drift into the car gate at a certain angle and something weird with hitboxes or whatever happens and it flings you crazy fast and crazy spinny which would be completely uncontrollable if not for the way trackmania players are. i wouldn't say banned but it was a bug that was patched and then they reset the world records on the campaign track that people were using the bug on to get crazy fast times
ok i have now gained more knowledge due to my arcane abilities (watching youtube video) and can confirm that i'm pretty sure it's not the uber bug. iirc i think it was more just like a one-off thing with some new car gate they had added. this uber bug is actually more impressive because of how much more extreme it is
also the game [the bug this post was about] was in is the 2020 version, not nations forever
