I think we have moved beyond having back pockets in pants. They're just effectively bad compared to side pockets and in every capacity they're annoying at best and actively bad at worst. Can't keep much in them, annoying to fish stuff out, can't sit with stuff in them or your ass hurts, studd falls out all the time, just like, nuts to the back pocket.
I love my comfy, baggy pants with pockets for days and don't bunch up on my thighs and they're airy and cool in the summer but still pants for cool weather. And they're durable and have lasted me AAAAAAAGES I'll never surrender my cargo pants. God can't make me. The government can't make me either.
