a few years ago i did a thread on twitter about kirby music i love that highlights the variety of the series' soundtracks. songs that are a far cry from the jolly, upbeat standards that non-fans know from smash like green greens and gourmet race, showing the incredible range of hal's composers. having been playing return to dream land deluxe, i am once again thinking about how kirby is one of my favorite things in the world, so i'm just turning that old thread into a chost and also throwing in some additional songs

hugely agree with all of these picks yeah. i saw "some additions" and was like oh ok that means battle of blizzard bridge is going to be on here lol. forgotten land's OST is basically 100% bullseyes but that's also pretty standard for kirby games honestly

Fantastic thread, love Kirby music's vast breadth of moods (big fan of Sectonia's second form especially).

Also wanna give a shoutout to "Roar of Dedede" from Forgotten Land which starts with for some reason the leitmotif of Rodan from the early Godzilla films, before it goes HARD on the deep drums and really amps up Dedede's power in that game.
