i've said it before but i've got no real problem with my assigned gender, it's fine
i really don't like a lot of the strong social expectations that go along with it, or a lot of the performative bullshit they want you to do about it
"man up," "be a man about it" and all the ways you're meant to be tough, stoic, individualist, insensitive and all that bullshit suck shit and limit what you can grow into
(and that's, i think, a large part of why things like "guy" or "boy" are fine but i kinda hate being called very strongly male coded terms like "man" please do not do this)
