I got some replacement parts for a pen and it came with a star??????????? it even has the brand (benu) on it????? it has no discernable purpose other than "decorative", it's definitely not a pen holder. I cannot find any evidence online of this being a thing anyone else has seen. it's very sparkly, made out of a similar pearlescent resin with glitter flakes as their pens. I'm keeping it on my desk forever

Oh cute!! My first thought was like a pen rest (it reminds me a little bit of the small ceramic nubs you rest the ends of chopsticks on), but hmmm, how mysterious.
Just tried that now and the geometry isn't QUITE right for it. I wonder if they just put leftover blobs of resin into molds with a bit of glitter for funsies. It has a few different colours swirled together (most noticeable on the back of it, you can see hints of pink, purple, turquoise, and green)
