I never deeply went into css but am still here. I don't really care about posting with fancy formatting though.
While I know enough CSS to put together a fairly basic web design, I'm mostly just being impressed by the CSS crime posts and don't really bother with Cohost CSS stuff myself.
That's for people putting tiny (and... Less tiny, that puzzle box...) games into the site and is part of the site's shitposting meta, rather than being something needed for doing basic posts here.
similarly i'm not on mastodon because i don't even know wtf it is 😌
